## Irish Horse Racing Fixtures Today: Friday 8th May 2026

There is two Irish horse racing fixtures today and fans are treated to both flat and jumps action.

**Ballinrobe** host the flat action attracting plenty of runners in their handicaps and there is also a couple of maidens.

One of those maidens is over 1m5f and sees multiple-time Cheltenham Festival runner Ballyadam line up for Henry De Bromhead.

Carmers won that race last year for Paddy Twomey and would win a Group 2 at Royal Ascot when he ran next – so we could get some pointers.
