John & Thady Gosden Search For THIRD Lockinge Win In A Row

After impressing on his seasonal reappearance, DAMYSUS is joint-favourite for John and Thady Gosden, who are looking for their third Lockinge win in a row.

The son of Frankel was last seen winning the Earl Of Sefton Stakes at Newmarket, his second Group 3 success in a row. Watch it below.

Owned by Wathnan Racing, the up and coming operation seem to have a good horse on their hands.

The Gosdens have won the race for the last two years. Lead Artist got up just on the line last season, beating Dancing Gemini by a neck.

And Audience was a shock winner of the race two years ago at odds of 22/1.

But I would say that Damysus has the potential to be classier than both of them – although this looks as if it could be a tricky renewal.

Leading Lockinge Owners Godolphin Have STRONG Chance With Notable Speech

Joint-favourite with Damysus, NOTABLE SPEECH looks to be tailor made for this renewal. He was just fourth in the race last year but would arrive this time around with a reappearance run under his belt.

He was an unlucky fourth at Keeneland in April and didn’t get a clear run, but he should come on a bunch for that outing and should go close.

The four-time Grade 1 winner has plenty of class and his owners Godolphin have won the Lockinge a record NINE times.

Modern Games was the last horse in the famous royal blue silks to win a Lockinge and he had the same Keeneland prep run as Notable Speech has this season.

Charlie Appleby’s charge could definitely go off as the favourite in the Lockinge betting odds.
