## **Andy Newton’s Lay Of The Day Horse Racing Tip: Monday 4th May 2026**

### 4:20 Kempton: THE DARK BARON

Very consistent performer and is yet to finish out of the first three from seven runs on the AW.

But is yet to race here at Kempton and is also still to win off a mark as high as 64.

Yes, Laura Coughlan takes off a handy 3lbs but she’s been riding this horses in his recent runs too, so the claim is relative.

*Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).*

#### **14:53 Fakenham – She Is For Me Boys**

*“She Is For Me Boys showed class on her chasing debut, winning nicely at Kempton last autumn. She made a noise at Cheltenham next time and subsequently had a wind- op. She was back on track with a good 3rd up in trip in a Grade 3 handicap last time. Now down in class, she is the best horse in the race and she should prevail.” **JAMIE SNOWDEN***
