When Is The 2027 Grand National? Date, Time & Ticket Information

After another year of Aintree marathon madness, check out everything you need to know about the 2027 Grand National including the date, time and full schedule.

When Is The 2027 Grand National?

It’s been another year of chaos and excitement at the Aintree Grand National meeting and now we have to wait another 12 months to experience it all over again.

The Grand National will take place on either Saturday 3rd April or Saturday 10th April – the EXACT date is not yet confirmed for next year right now but there’s a good chance it will start at 4:00pm.

Typically it is on the second Saturday of April, but things can always change.

2027 Aintree Grand National Date & Potential Schedule

So, if the Grand National meeting takes place on the first weekend of April next year then the schedule would be…

  • Thursday 1st April 2027 – Opening Day
  • Friday 2nd April 2027 – Ladies Day
  • Saturday 3rd April 2027 – Grand National Day

Or, if it’s on the second weekend of April as it was this year, then it would be…

  • Thursday 8th April 2027 – Opening Day
  • Friday 9th April 2027 – Ladies Day
  • Saturday 10th April 2027 – Grand National Day

How To Watch The Grand National in 2027

Once again as always, next year’s Grand National will make the ITV Racing Schedule, so keep an eye out for updates on selected races closer to the time.

Subscription-based TV Channel, Racing TV will also show every single race at the meeting. But if you’re not willing to subscribe, then all betting apps should show each race as well – although some of them may need you to wager on the race to be able to watch it.
