Noel Meade’s Grand National contender A Genie In Abottle was found dead in his stable on Friday, Sportinglife report.
The seven-year-old’s cause of death is still unknown by those around him and are hoping to find out in the coming days.
A Genie In Abottle was owned by Gigginstown House Stud and was priced as a 50-1 outsider for the Grand National later this month.

Meade’s horse also competed at last year’s Cheltenham festival, where he finished fifth in the four-mile National Hunt Chase where he was named as a 4-1 favourite.
Gigginstown’s spokesman, Eddie O’Leary said:
We’ve no idea what happened. He was okay in the morning and dead in his box at lunchtime. It’s just one of those things.
Gigginstown still hope to have five runners in the big Aintree race later this month in Tiger Roll, Alpha Des Obeaux, Thunder And Roses, Valseur Lido and Road To Riches.
