Ruby Walsh expects to discover on Wednesday how long he will be out of action for following his latest injury setback, the Racing Post report.
The legendary Irish jockey recently recovered from a broken leg just in time for the Cheltenham Festival, and managed to squeeze in two rides before the meeting kicked off last Tuesday.
He enjoyed two winners on the opening day of the meeting with Footpad and Benie Des Dieux respectively, but took a heavy fall during the RSA Insurance Chase the following day on board Al Boum Photo and had to sit out the rest of the week after aggravating the leg he had broken in November.

Speaking to the Racing UK on Sunday, Walsh was optimistic over the extent of the injury.
I’m not too bad. It’s [the leg] in plaster of Paris and I’ll know more on Wednesday as to how much or how little damage I’ve done. Hopefully it won’t be too long but there’s always a chance it could take a while but I will know more next week.
Walsh did manage to return to the meeting to watch the action take place on Thursday and Friday before he travelled home to rest up.
